Key to USD 5 TRILLION Dream
India is on the path of becoming a 5 trillion-dollar economy. Led by Government’s ambitious Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, Skill India, PLI (Performance Linked Incentive) and other schemes in various sectors, out of the 7 Lac registered companies, many are in process of doing volume hiring. This translates to a long time of the HR professionals getting wasted in just screening and shortlisting the profiles out of the 100s to 1000s of resumes being received.
However, in spite of sitting on the cusp of demographic dividend (largest young workforce), India is staring at a huge skill gap, estimated to be 29 million by the year 2030. Therefore, every company doing bulk or volume hiring stand at a risk of ending up with bad hiring(s). Every bad hiring has economic repercussions for the company and this is the problem which needs to be solved.
